Terms of Service

These terms are maintained by The Melbourne taxi and apply to bookings made on this website or by phone on +61 467 412 132.

Bookings

A booking request is confirmed once our driver calls or messages you back. Requests made through this website are sent directly to the driver, we aim to respond within a few minutes at any hour.

Fares

Fares follow the Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria tariff schedule. Estimates shown on this site (including airport estimates) are indicative only; the final fare depends on the route, traffic, tolls, tariff period and any booking fee or levy that applies.

Payment

We accept cash, major credit and debit cards via in-vehicle EFTPOS, Cabcharge, and MPTP (Multi Purpose Taxi Program) cards. Transparent fares with standard regulatory surcharges where applicable.

Cancellations

Cancel free of charge any time before the driver is dispatched. Just call +61 467 412 132 as early as you can so we can free the car up.

Passenger responsibilities

Passengers must wear seatbelts, follow reasonable driver instructions, and are responsible for any damage or soiling of the vehicle caused by them.
